Project Overview
Refined mountain modern, designed around a stone hearth that predates the renovation. Custom cabinetry in soft blue and white oak defers to the original arch, while a fully paneled refrigerator and built-in microwave keep the appliances out of sight. Vented vegetable drawers keep produce in the cabinetry rather than on the counter. Three-inch walnut lumber flanks the sink and the stone island top, and the island itself seats four along a turned-leg overhang. Two entry closets with pull-out shoe shelves ease the transition from outside in.
